I’m not ashamed to admit that I still really haven’t tapped the full potential of Twitter. I mean, why lie? Maybe its because I’ve been accused of being overly verbose, so it just doesn’t meet my minimum verbosity requirements. Techdirt shares their perspective on “Ambient Awareness”, via the NYT, a concept that is propogated through mediums like Twitter and Facebook’s News Feed. Given these thoughts, I think I would agree that if understand that information is intended to be ambient, it allows you to treat it as such and it allows you to absorb it in a more appropriate way.
