Bring it! Techcrunch and many others report the imminent launch of Chrome, the Google Browser. Although I’ve already long since abandoned Explorer in all places except for my day job (where its the only browser allowed – blech!), this is a monumental shift towards Google, who is continues to prove that they really understand the user’s experience. Or more importantly, its another step to abandoning Window’s dependency. Bravo!

Note: I’m not so hot on the name Chrome, but it will do for now.
